Recto-Verso Productions supports research, creation and dissemination of multidisciplinary arts. One of Recto-Verso's major achievements, which returns every year, is the production of the "Mois Multi". The "Mois Multi" is an international festival that welcomes and presents avant-garde productions by Quebec, Canadian and foreign artists.
ALTKEY had already worked with Recto-Verso to realize a first experience "Ondes Virtuelles" in virtual reality, a co-production with the Collectif LAS. In 2020, ALTKEY is back with a new virtual reality project, The Virtual Collapse, based on the poignant book "L'effondrement : compte rendu" (Éditions Rodrigol) by authors Laurence Brunelle-Côté and Stéphanie Béliveau.
The spectators of the experience are immersed in the book and, in an interactive way, can walk around, open and move the pages to discover the hidden content. The content of some of these pages is itself interactive. Laurence Brunelle-Côté narrates her work and her words are accompanied by the original music of Simon Elmaleh, Susie Napper and Margaret Little.
Since the experience was shared during the Covid pandemic, Recto-Verso also took care of the logistics surrounding the diffusion of the experience (distribution of Oculus Go virtual reality headsets, cleanup between users, etc.).
